Koku Anyidoho Charged With Treason

Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Koku Anyidoho has been charged with treason for saying President Akufo-Addo’s government will be toppled via a coup d’etat just like his father in 1972.

The controversial politician was arrested this afternoon at International Press Centre where his party in collaboration with other individuals was planning a demonstration against government.

According to his lawyer, Victor Adawudu, in an interview with Joy News, Mr. Anyidoho has been denied bail by the police.
