Highlife legend, Rex Omar is suing ZylofonMedia for allegedly ‘stealing’ his songs.
The ‘Abiba’ singer — who is also the president of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) — in an interview with Neat FM, said he has filed a suit of copyright infringement against the owner of Zylofon Media.
He said Zylofon used his music without his permission and so he is suing them for a whopping 1 million dollars.
“My lawyers have written to them, so you would hear the details at the right time because they have money,” he said.
“They (Zylofon) have taken my song and that is my property. As for me, my music is my property and I value every song I produce at 1million dollars. So if you take my music and you don’t tell me, you have stolen my on million dollar.”
