Gospel musician, Ernest Opoku has given vivid account of what really happened at Adom FM studio — where he was allegedly lashed by his pregnant ex-girlfriend Nayas — real name Gladys Mensah Boaku.
As reported yesterday by GhanaSlayers.com, Nayas, who is an actress and a producer, stormed the studios of Adom fm, where Ernest Opoku was having a live worship program, and started lashing him with canes.
Finally opening up to Hitz FM this morning, the Nyame Otease hitmaker said it all begun when Nayas stormed the studio while he was making call and started lashing him with canes.
“I was in the studio of Adom FM when the girl rushed in. I was even making a call and couldn’t see the lady walk in. I only realized she was present in the studio when she started lashing me severally but I didn’t retaliate,” he revealed.
“Ghanaians should watch her pregnancy carefully since she said she is pregnant for 3 months. I won’t lay my hands on her but I leave everything to God.”
Ernest also expressed his utter disappointment at Multimedia for failing to protect him as he was in their studio when he was attacked by Nayas.
“I know what Multimedia has done for some gospel artistes like myself so I don’t charge for any live worship event I attend at the reputable media firm but what happened to me yesterday was such disappointing and unpleasant,” he said.
“If Multimedia doesn’t take responsibility for this case I will be disappointed in them. Multimedia didn’t protect me… I give everything to God.”
