Former communication director of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Sannie Diara has filed a defamation suit against ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The former BBC journalist wants 20 million cedis and is also refraining Anas and his Tiger Eye PI firm from publishing defamatory things about him.
Sannie Diara was seen in Anas #12 investigative piece receiving allegedly bribe from a member of Tiger Eye PI. However Sannie has come out to deny this. According to him, he gave the money to the man who was standing next to him.
Meanwhile Sannie and three other former GFA executives, Nii Komitei Doku, Leanier Addy and Abdul Ganiu Lawal were all invited to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters yesterday for questioning accompanied by their lawyers.
They were later granted bail after their statements were taken.
