Ghanaian comedian and actor Kwaku Sintim-Misa a.k.a KSM has joined forces with other industry colleagues to slam the new name of the Ghana movie industry, Gollywood, which was unveiled at the Ghana 60 Years Film Summit held last week at the Accra International Conference Center.
Taking to his Facebook page, KSM described the new name of the Ghana Film Industry as a crime.
According to the host of the KSM Show, the name is nothing but a cheap imitation.
“GHOLLYWOOD? For real? Or its meant to be a BAD joke? The name is a CRIME,” he said.
He added: “Is this the best that some people of the CREATIVE ARTS industry could come up with? SMH CREATIVE people ORIGINATE, they don’t IMITATE. Especially a CHEAP IMITATION – Aba!!!!”
