The only son of the late former president of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mills has paid a glowing tribute to his father on the 6th anniversary of his tragic death.
Speaking at the ceremony held to mark the 6th anniversary of his father’s death at the Asomdwe Park on Tuesday, Sam Kofi Mills said though he has many role model or father figures, none of them can fill the vacuum left by his dad.
“It gets to a point where you need to have role models. I had a lot of moments with my dad. Travelling with him and his presence helped shape my life. Waking up in the morning doing devotion and now doing it on my own…,” he said.
“He was the father type. I cannot replace him with anyone. People will come in but it will never be the same.”
