BREAKING: CAF Bans Ghanaian referees for life, as others get slapped with 10 year ban

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has punished some Ghanaian referees with life bans whilst others get a minimum of 10 years suspension.

The disciplinary board of CAF held a meeting on the 5th of August to discuss Ghanaian referees and other African referees who were caught taking bribes in the Anas #12 investigative piece.

The board arrived at a decision to ban 8 Ghanaian referees. They include David Laryea (Banned for Life), Reginald Lathbridge (Banned for 10 years), Nantierre Eric (Banned for 10 years), Cecil Fletcher (10 years ban) , Dawood Ouadrago (10 years ban), Salifu Malik (10 years ban), Theresa Ankogyam (10 years ban), Joseph Wellington (10 years ban).
