Nana Appiah Mensah Apologizes For Dissing Bank of Ghana

Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has apologized to Bank of Ghana for disrespecting them after his company was warned to stop the illegal business.

In reaction to BOG’s warning, Nana Appiah called off their bluff, saying they were a “joke”. He said: “Today’s joke: Bank of Ghana, so now you dey do propaganda? I beg paa, “Tell Ghanaians exactly what happened with the 5 or so collapsed banks you duly LICENSED & SUPERVISED for years,”

But a week after his shocking contempt for Bank of Ghana, NAM1 has eaten a humble pie.

The owner of Menzgold and Zylofon took to his Twitter account on Tuesday (August 14) to apologize to Bank of Ghana.

“Owing to the fallible nature of man, i sincerely apologise for my initial reaction to the Bank of Ghana press release,” he said in a tweet on Tuesday.

He added that his company is cooperating with BOG to solve matter amicably. “We’ve engaged & are cooperating with the BoG and other state agencies, to cordially resolve in the interest of our beloved Republic of Ghana.#GhanaShallProsper,” he said.
