Government has begun the recruitment of graduate teachers for Senior High Schools (SHS) ahead of the implementation of the double track system.
The Ghana Education Service announced in a statement today that they will be employing new graduate teachers ahead of the rolling of the double track education system.
“Ghana Education Service wishes to inform the general public that it is recruiting graduate teachers for senior high schools as part of its arrangement for the launching of the double track system,” the statement said.
According to GES only graduates who have completed their national service will be recruited.
“Only applicants who have completed their National Service will be shortlisted to write a test to determine their suitability for the advertised positions,” the statement signed by the head of PR of GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo said.
The statement also indicated that cooks and non-teaching staff will be recruited soon.
