Popular Takoradi-based radio presenter and MC Rosaline Djan has announced her resignation from EIB-owned Empire FM.

She disclosed the shocking news via her Facebook account this week.

Announcing her resignation, Rosaline wrote:

“Hi everyone, this is to officially notify you of some few decisions I’ve taken in this brief period.

Effective, today May 1, I bring to an end, my stint with Empire FM (EIB Network).

I leave this great family with wonderful memories and a wealth of experience.

I wish everyone and the business all the best in the future and also thank everyone (listeners) who followed and supported me throughout my time there.

Love you all😊”

It is unclear why she has parted ways with the station but rumours has it that it is because of the financial crisis that has affected EIB since last year.

She joins long list of high profile journalists who have left EIB Network in recent years including Berla Mundi, Giovanni Caleb, Jon Germain and KOD.

Rosaline Djan previously worked with Paragon FM, also based in Takoradi.
