Longtime Adom TV broadcaster and TV Host, Nana Yaa Brefo has announced her resignation from Multimedia Group.
Nana Yaa made the announcement Saturday evening on her social media accounts.
Sharing the news, the controversial journalist thanked her employers for her decade of service and added that she is quitting in order to “follow other dreams”
“I want to say a big THANK YOU to MultiMedia and my colleagues. Also my fans for the support really appreciate also thank those who did not like me, you made me grow during my 10 years stay at Multimedia, (Adom TV ). I bow out of multimedia to follow other dreams.Thank You all for being there. Akpe🙏❤️. #nanayaabrefo.”
Her resignations comes barely a week after she was widely condemned in her interview with star actress Nana Ama McBrown.
In the interview, she was criticised by many, including showbiz analyst and colleagues journalists, for her unprofessional line of questioning.
Popular entertainment analyst and journalist, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo lashed out at Nana Yaa Brefo following her interview with McBrown. According to him, the former asked the latter “silly questions” and showed lack of professionalism and maturity.
“It was wrong, it was too wrong, I think Nana Yaa Brefo should apologise. The way she handled herself on that program didn’t show any professionalism, it didn’t show maturity…,” he said.
