Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong has advised former president John Mahama and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to stop wasting their monies to campaign because no matter what, they will lose the elections to President Akufo-Addo.
The Tabitha Kum hitmaker made the suggestion in an interview with Kofi Adoma and Governor TV at Sir John’s One Week Observation at Sakora Wonoo.
According to Omane Acheampong, he is not making those claims because he is an NPP member or he has gain something from the government, but because of the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy.
“Our former president John Mahama and my NDC brothers should stop wasting money on this election. They should rather save towards election 2024 because I don’t see them winning this election.
“NPP hasn’t given me anything but we have supported the party for a long time. If I support NPP, I have my reason because free SHS is a good thing,” he said.
“It’s not about what I will eat today, let’s look at the future of these poor children. 2020 Ghanaians should vote for Nana Akufo-Addo. Nana hasn’t given me anything and even when I want to go and see him, I’m not allowed to do so. If I don’t get anything today, my children and my grandchildren will benefit so we shouldn’t make it spoil but rather we should vote him back so that he comes to better the Free SHS policy because if we bring another government and it spoils, we will be gravely hurt,” he added.
