Editor-in-chief of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has said he will flatly reject any appointment offered to him by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The legendary journalist made this known when he when he was asked by NPP Youth Organizer Nana Boakye (Nana B) on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo show if he will one day accept an appointment from the president.
Pratt told Nana B that he will never accept a political appointment from the president no matter how juicy the post is. He recounted that in 2001, Akufo-Addo told him that President Kufuor wanted to work with him in his government. However, he rejected the offer from the president.
He also revealed that after 2008 elections, President Atta Mills wanted to appoint him as Ghana’s ambassador to Cuba, however he again rejected the offer.
