Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui wins Miss Ghana 2020 (Photos)

Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui is the winner of Miss Ghana 2020 held virtually on August 21st at the National Theatre.

Ms Agbodekpui, who represented the Bono-East region, beat off competition from 16 other contestants to emerge the winner of Ghana’s most prestigious beauty pageant.

Isabella Agbo and Annlisa Anangfio took the 1st and 2nd runner up position respectively.

The Miss Ghana 2020 pageant was initially scheduled for May 2020 but had to be been postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Monique Agbedekpui will represent Ghana at the Miss World 2020 which will likely take place around the second semester of 2021 (around July to December). The pageant was originally slated for December 2020 but had to be postponed because of the pandemic.

Last year, Miss Ghana 2019, Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi represented Ghana in Miss World 2019 but was not placed in the top 40. Hopefully, Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui will do better!
