Sylvester Ofori, the US-based Ghanaian pastor who killed his wife Barbara Tommey, has made his first appearance in court.
Ofori, 35, who has been charged with first degree murder on Saturday appeared before a federal judge in Florida.
According to Orlando police, the deceased, 27, was killed outside her workplace of the Navy Federal Credit Union near the Mall at Millenia, on Tuesday morning (September 8).
Barbara was shot by Sylvester, near the business’ front doors on the 4600 block of Gardens Park Boulevard just before 9 a.m., an Orlando Police Department spokesperson said.
Prosecutors in the case detailed to a judge the procedure that led to his arrest.
Prosecutors further added that a raged Ofori stood over the body of his wife as she took her last breath and fired more rounds into her.
