I rejected GH¢100k, a car to join NPP’s campaign – Boxer Ayittey Powers reveals

Ghanaian boxer, Ayittey Powers, has revealed that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) attempted to bribe him with a whopping GH¢100,000.00 to join their 2020 campaign team to retain President Akufo-Addo.

Ayittey is seen in a video saying Kennedy Agyapong (of Kenpong Travels and Tour) approached him with the money to join the party but he rejected the offer because he can’t be bought with money.

According to him, Ghanaians are suffering under the Nana Addo-led administration so it will be wrong for him to sell his conscience and campaign for them.

“I was there when Kenpong called me that I will be given GH¢ 100,000.00 and a car to join the 2020 NPP campaign but I rejected the offer,” he said.

“I refused it because I’ve seen such money before and I will not think of just my stomach, I have to think of the problems Ghanaians are currently facing under this administration.”
